I made this photo for the cover of the first Croatian translation of Ian Fleming's "James Bond - Live And Let Die". This is my third James Bond Book cover.

"...and the sacrifice steps forth, ready to face her duty as she offers her life for theirs..." That's what this picture makes me think. Several old legends of sacrifices involved hands tied an a white dress to represent purity and death.....but that's just me...great job by the way

You shouldn't fear me.... but my Eureka moments are another story.... --- I give credit to all the people who original own the anime characters I draw. But I give myself credit for the ones I created
i love when the wind have a dramatic character in a picture, once i wrote a poem about it... now every time when i see a picture like this i feel the inspiration and all the moments of a photographer behind the camera. GREAT JOB!
it's funny. i've seen this piece a thousand times, and it still surprises me each time. its only after having read the book that i notice subtle things. such as solitaire's white dress, since of course she is a virgin prophet. the blank stare that i feel visualizes her ability. the expression that shows her cunningness. the vast open background that sort-of shows how uncertain the future is for her. and of course, the rope, displaying her "bonds" (little pun there) from mr big and bond, being a woman in the mid 20th century.
as a usual fan of your work, i enjoy your best works frequently. i dont know why now, but this piece has finally registered as one of my favourite profession photographs.
